OMG | Legendary paper-wrapped flame: Box Lanterns

Box lantern, also known as palace box lantern, is a folk activity of viewing flower lanterns that originated in Haixing County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province during the Qing Dynasty. It features layered designs resembling pagodas or flower pots. As each layer burns and collapses, a stunning display of fireworks illuminates the scene. It is not only a model of the perfect combination of traditional handicraft and fireworks art but also a vivid display of the vitality of traditional Chinese culture.
