The MTR Corporation introduced the "PANDASTIC" MTR Ride earlier, which has been well received by passengers. This Saturday (Jan. 11), the Panda-themed High Speed Rail train, launched in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, will embark on a journey for 12 consecutive weeks, running on Saturdays, Sundays, and designated times.
The inaugural journey will be the G6582 departing at 8:23 AM this Saturday from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Guangzhou South Station.
The train is a transformation of the Vibrant Express train, adorned with multiple giant panda patterns on the train body, along with Hong Kong landmarks such as the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui, the Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Golden Bauhinia Square. Inside the train, panda patterns can be found on seats and luggage racks. The mischievous giant panda not only becomes the high-speed rail driver but also serves as a promotional ambassador, shuttling between various Hong Kong tourist landmarks to introduce photo spots to passengers visiting Hong Kong by train.

Today, the six giant pandas from Hong Kong's panda family—Ying Ying, Le Le, An An, Ke Ke, and the twin cubs—have also 'settled' in Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. The panda decorations, full of fun and authentic Hong Kong characteristics, cover the ticketing hall on the B1 floor, welcoming passengers alongside Captain Go.
