
The Immigration Department announced today (Dec. 26) that over 1.16 million cross-border movements were recorded yesterday (Dec. 25), including over 690,000 departures and nearly 470,000 arrivals.
Among the departures, close to 570,000 were Hong Kong residents, with the Lo Wu Control Point being the most frequently used exit point, followed by the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
As for arrivals, the figures included nearly 350,000 Hong Kong residents, approximately 80,000 Mainland visitors, and more than 40,000 other travelers.
