Hong Kong people love sports. Fitness and running have become a part of daily life. Recently, some netizens spotted a man in an MTR carriage using the handrail to perform pull-ups.
A netizen uploaded the video with the caption, "This uncle is really strong and fit." In the video, it can be seen that there are no other passengers in front of the uncle. There is just a large black handbag, which is likely his.
The video sparked heated discussions among netizens, with some harshly criticizing the uncle's behavior as "immature". Others commented, "Some people know they will definitely be filmed, so they deliberately do things to show off." Some even mocked him as a "time management master".
It is worth noting that according to the MTR By-laws, no person shall improperly touch, use, meddle, damage or otherwise interfere with any machine or equipment, or any part thereof, used or employed in or upon any part of the railway premises; otherwise, they will face a fine of HK$5,000 and up to six months' imprisonment.
While exercise is good, it should be done on appropriate and proper occasions.
