
The Housing Authority announced that the ballot drawing ceremony for the Sale of Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2024 will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow (Dec. 12).
According to the Housing Authority's arrangements, selection of flats will begin as early as the second quarter of next year.
This round of applications offers a total of 7,132 flats in Kai Ying Court in Kai Tak, Ko Hei Court in Yau Tong, On Pak Court in Kwun Tong, Yu Hing Court in Tung Chung, and Siu Wu Court in Tuen Mun, with usable areas ranging from 186 to 510 square feet.
Additionally, the income and asset limits for families of White Form status in this round will be adjusted downward, with the income cap reduced from HK$62,000 to HK$60,000 and the asset limit decreased from HK$1.47 million to HK$1.23 million. For single White Form applicants, the income and asset limits will be reduced to HK$30,000 and HK$615,000, respectively.
According to earlier data released by the Housing Authority, over 100,000 application forms have been received this round, resulting in an oversubscription of approximately 13 times.
