According to CCTV News, one of the major projects in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Huangmaohai Sea-crossing Channel Project, will be officially opened to traffic from 3:00 p.m. on Dec. 11.
Huangmaohai Sea-crossing Channel is 31 kilometers long, after the opening of the Hong Kong - Macao - Zhuhai - Jiangmen into a straight line, will change the status quo of a single transportation hub in western Guangdong, the three-dimensional transportation network of the GBA to further dense.
After the opening of the project, the traveling time between Zhuhai and Jiangmen will be shortened from more than one hour to about 30 minutes.
Before the opening of the project, the public is temporarily exempted from the project road tolls, detailed fees to be disclosed in the next step.
