9 slightly injured in collision between private car, DH's minibus on Tate's Cairn Highway, blocking traffic to Tai Po

A traffic accident occurred at 8:58 am this morning (Dec. 2) in Ma On Shan. A 16-seater minibus of the Department of Health (DH) was traveling along Tate's Cairn Highway in the direction of Sheung Shui when it collided with a private car near the Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works.

It was reported that two drivers and seven passengers on board the minibus sustained minor injuries, such as heartburn and neck twisting, and were sent by ambulance to hospital for treatment.

As a result of the incident, part of Tate's Cairn Highway towards Tai Po near the Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works was closed. The incident has not yet been cleared by 10:00 am, and the queue was once extended to the MTR Tai Shui Hang Station.
