ITTF table tennis world rankings update: Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin claim world No.1

On Nov. 26, the International Table Tennis Federation announced its Week 48 world rankings, with China's national table tennis team dominating the top spots across four categories. Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha lead the men's and women's singles rankings, respectively, while Chinese pairs also shine in doubles and mixed doubles.

In the men's singles rankings, Wang Chuqin takes the No. 1 position, followed by compatriot Lin Shidongin second. Other Chinese players in the top 10 include Liang Jingkun (5th), Fan Zhendong (6th), and Ma Long (8th).

For the women's singles, Sun Yingsha maintains her position as the world's No. 1 player. She is joined by a complete Chinese sweep of the top five, with Wang Manyu, Wang Yidi, Chen Meng, and Chen Xingtong occupying the 2nd to 5th spots, respectively.

In the doubles categories, Chinese players continue to excel:

Men's Doubles: Yuan Licen/Xiang Peng rank 3rd, Lin Gaoyuan/Lin Shidong 4th, Ma Long/Wang Chuqin 5th, Ma Long/Lin Gaoyuan 6th, Wang Chuqin/Liang Jingkun 7th, and Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin 8th.

Women's Doubles: Chen Meng/Wang Manyu top the rankings at No. 1, while Qian Tianyi/Chen Xingtong secure the 4th spot.

Mixed Doubles: The reigning world champions Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha remain No. 1, with Lin Shidong/Kuai Man ranked 3rd.
