Starting today (Nov. 7), Greater Bay Airlines will operate flights between Hong Kong and Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, offering three pairs of round-trip flights each week.
The flights to Zhoushan will depart from Hong Kong at 3:05 p.m. and arrive at Zhoushan Putuoshan International Airport at 5:20 p.m. on Mondays and Saturdays, while the flights to Zhoushan on Thursdays will depart from Hong Kong at 9:35 a.m. Flights to Hong Kong depart Zhoushan at 6:10 p.m. (Mondays and Saturdays) and 12:40 p.m. (Thursdays) on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Greater Bay Airlines said Zhoushan, a coastal city in Zhejiang Province, consists of more than 1,300 islands; and Putuo Mountain in Zhoushan is one of the four most famous Buddhist mountains in China, with a number of temples, including the Puji Temple, the Fayu Temple and the Huiji Temple, as well as the 18-meter-high Guanyin statue of the South China Sea, which is the largest in all of Asia.
