Japan's well-known yakitori izakaya chain, Torikizoku, has officially announced plans to open its first Hong Kong location at Tuen Mun Town Plaza in December. The restaurant will operate daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Although the HK menu has not yet been revealed, the restaurant promises to offer affordable prices and to deliver the same signature menu found in Japan.
A unique feature of Torikizoku is its standardized pricing, with all items in Japan priced at 370 yen (approximately HK$20).
Originating in Osaka, Torikizoku is famous for its reasonably priced chicken skewers, including options such as chicken wings, thighs, liver, gizzards, and neck meat. The menu also features grilled dishes and fried items.
Torikizoku is entering the HK market through a franchise arrangement with local food giant Four Seas Group, which will manage the HK branch. The franchise agreement allows Torikizoku to provide operational support while Four Seas Group will handle day-to-day management using Torikizoku's branding and expertise.
