In the men's singles quarterfinals of the Asian Table Tennis Championships, national team player Lin Shidong defeated Japan's Hiroto Shinozuka with a commanding score of 3-0 today (Oct. 13), advancing smoothly to the finals. The scores of the three games were 12-10, 18-16, and 11-2 respectively.

Tonight at 8 p.m. Hong Kong time, Lin Shidong will compete against renowned Japanese player Tomokazu Harimoto in the men's singles final.

Lin Shidong has already secured the men's team and mixed doubles titles at this year's Championships.
