CE urges public to get vaccinated against seasonal flu
Chief Executive John Lee today (Oct. 4) encouraged the public to receive the seasonal influenza vaccination (SIV) as soon as possible, as it is one of the most effective ways to prevent seasonal influenza and its complications.
He shared on social media that he and his team had received both SIV and the COVID-19 booster vaccination this morning.
Lee also advised those in high-risk priority groups to receive their COVID-19 booster shots in a timely manner to enhance protection and reduce the risk of severe complications and death.
The latest round of the "Vaccination Subsidy Scheme," "Government Vaccination Programme," "Seasonal Influenza Vaccination School Outreach Programme," and "Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme" is now underway.
