Continuous rainfall triggers floods and landslides in Nepal, resulting in 192 deaths
It is reported that the continuous rainfall in Nepal has triggered natural disasters such as floods and landslides in multiple areas, resulting in 192 deaths, 30 people missing, and 194 injured.
Various regions in Nepal have experienced sustained rainfall, affecting most parts of the country since Sept. 26. The intensity of the rain began to gradually weaken two days ago, but significant damage to road and transportation infrastructure has made rescue efforts for stranded residents extremely challenging.
The authorities emphasized that they will continue to search and rescue those trapped, including individuals believed to still be stuck on highways.
