Israeli army announces killing of Hezbollah leader in Beirut airstrikes
The Israel Defense Forces announced on Saturday the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, following Israel's airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Lebanon's Hezbollah has not yet responded.
On the evening of Sept. 27, an explosion occurred in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Israeli Defence Forces spokesman said that the Israeli forces attacked the Lebanese Hezbollah headquarters on that day.
