Citybus offers free rides for kids on cross-harbor routes from Oct.1
Citybus will begin testing its hydrogen-powered buses on the cross-harbor route starting Oct. 1. It will launch a day on which kids can enjoy free rides with Child Octopus, allowing passengers aged 4 to 11 to ride over 300 daytime routes for free using Octopus cards and other electronic payment methods on the same day (except for the Airport Express, port routes, open-top sightseeing buses, and overnight routes).
Citybus' hydrogen-powered buses will provide constant service on Route 101 between Kennedy Town and Yue Man Square in Kwun Tong for about one month, starting on Oct.1, and it will also promote Oct.1 as a new energy bus-free experience day. Double-decker hydrogen and electric buses will operate all day on Route 101 across the harbor, offering free rides to passengers and connecting multiple locations such as Kwun Tong, Hung Hom, Central, and Kennedy Town, promoting a cost-free travel experience.
