The Japanese authorities said that a 10-year-old student at a Japanese school in Shenzhen passed away on Wednesday (Sept. 18) following his stabbing by an attacker, according to the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou.

A reporter asked, according to the news released by the Japanese government, on the morning of Sept. 18, a student of the Japanese school in Shenzhen was attacked by a man and stabbed. Lin Jian said that it is understood that on the morning of Sept. 18, a 10-year-old student at the Japanese School in Shenzhen was stabbed by a man about 200 meters away from the entrance of the school. The injured student was sent to the hospital for the first time and is in full force in the rescue.
The murderer has been arrested on the spot, and the case is still under further investigation. According to Lin, the Chinese side of the relevant departments will be dealt with per the law.
