New investors to relaunch PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty as 'Healthy' brand

The chain fitness and beauty center "PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty," established for 38 years, announced a temporary closure across all locations yesterday (September 6). The official website of PHYSICAL Fitness & Beauty issued a notice today (September 7) stating that new investors have reached a preliminary agreement with the owner of the Wan Chai branch's original site. The new company will operate under the "Healthy" brand and has committed to providing all existing customers free access to their remaining fitness cards and personal training sessions.

The Consumer Council reported that as of noon today, it had received 358 related complaints, totaling over 12.17 million HKD, with an average claim of 34,000 HKD per case and the highest single claim amounting to 650,000 HKD. The Consumer Council stated that it would closely monitor the situation and urged consumers needing assistance to contact the Council.
