Super typhoon Yagi makes landfall in south China's Hainan
According to CCTV news, super typhoon Yagi landed in the coastal area of Wengtian Town, Wenchang City, Hainan around 16:20 today (Sept. 6), with a maximum wind force of more than 17 (62 m/s) near the center at the time of landing.
It is expected that Yagi will continue to move in the north-west direction, passing through Wenchang, Haikou, Chengmai, Lingao and other cities and counties, and then enter the Gulf of Tonkin in the second half of the night of the Sept. 6 to the early morning of the Sept. 7.
