HKDSE examination fees will increase about 4% in 2025
Registration for the 2025 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) will take place from Sept. 11 to Oct. 8. School candidates must register through their schools, while private candidates can register online. Candidates can take up to eight subjects in one exam year.
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) will hold an online seminar next Wednesday (Sept.11) to help schools and examination officers understand the registration process.
Exam fees will increase by about 4% next year. Language subjects will cost HK$747 each, other subjects HK$499 each, with a registration fee of HK$572 for private candidates. Mainland examination centers will charge HK$2059.
