Watch This | New clip of Ocean Park's giant panda babies revealed
Ocean Park's new official social media page for the giant pandas released the latest footage of the newborn pandas today (Aug. 18).
In the latest 5-second clip, the two babies are seen squirming under the blanket of an incubator.
According to the park, newborn giant pandas are still small and do not have the ability to regulate their own temperature, so they need a blanket to keep them warm.
The birth of giant panda Ying Ying's pair of babies at 2:05 am and 3:27 am on the 15th of this month caused great joy in Hong Kong. Due to their fragility and the time needed to stabilize their condition, the Park's nursing and veterinary teams, as well as specialists from the Panda Centre, are providing round-the-clock care.
Previously, Ocean Park has also released footage of the baby panda being fed with milk.
