He Bingjiao retires after winning silver medal in women's singles badminton at Paris Olympics

Badminton World Federation (BWF) today (Aug. 13), in the official Weibo post, confirmed that Chinese badminton player He Bingjiao, who formally submitted to the BWF application for retirement, will no longer participate in international level tournaments.

The BWF said, "The memories of youth are all traces of hard work on the court; from Youth Olympic champion to Olympic runner-up, it is the result of persistence and dedication, blessing He Bingjiao all the best for the future!"

At the recently concluded Paris Olympics, 27-year-old He Bingjiao won the silver medal in the women's badminton singles.
