Visitor arrivals reach 520,000 on Saturday, including 167,000 from Mainland

According to the latest information from the Immigration Department, there were nearly 520,000 arrivals at various control points yesterday (Aug. 10), of which 167,000 were Mainland visitors and about 620,000 were departures. (DotDotNews)

According to the latest information from the Immigration Department, there were nearly 520,000 arrivals at various control points yesterday (Aug. 10), of which 167,000 were Mainland visitors and about 620,000 were departures. The Lo Wu Control Point was the busiest, recording the largest number of arrivals and departures.

Figures show that among the 167,000 mainland visitors, nearly 40,000 came to Hong Kong via the West Kowloon Station of the High-Speed Rail, over 32,000 via the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line of the Futian Control Point, and over 26,000 via the Lo Wu Control Point.

More than 440,000 Hong Kong residents left Hong Kong yesterday, of which more than 109,000 traveled to Guangdong via Lo Wu Control Point.
