Photos | Steph Curry's 36-point performance leads U.S. men's basketball team to comeback against Serbia
On August 9 (Hong Kong time), the USA Basketball Men's Olympic Team defeated Serbia 95-91 in the Men's Basketball Semi-Finals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
In the first half, Serbia's offense was on fire, and even though U.S. point guard Stephen Curry scored 20 points in the first half, the U.S. still trailed 43-54 at the end of the half.
At the end of the third quarter, the U.S. was still 13 points behind, but they fought back in the final quarter, and in the last minute, Curry's free throws sealed the victory.
As the biggest contributor to the game, Curry shocked the world by scoring 36 points. The U.S. eventually pulled off a 95-91 comeback victory over Serbia, advancing to the finals to face the hosts, the French Men's Basketball team.
