The 4th Hong Kong Brands and Products Shopping Festival will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo from the 2nd of next month, lasting four days.
The event will feature over 250 booths spread across six exhibition zones, with participation from 181 exhibitors.
Ivan Sze, Vice President of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) and Chairman of Exhibition Services Limited stated that the festival is expected to attract approximately 60,000 visitors, generating around HK$60 million in sales. Mainland Chinese tourists are anticipated to account for about 15% of the total attendees.
Kam Lo, President of CMA, mentioned that the event collaborates with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, cross-border bus services, logistics service providers, and AsiaWorld-Expo. They will distribute free admission tickets to tourists.
Lo also highlighted the venue's proximity to the airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port, along with a series of national measures benefiting Hong Kong, which are expected to draw more visitors.
The six exhibition zones are Leisure Foods, Health Preserving Food, Living & Household Products, Fashion & Beauty Products, Yummy Food Zone, and a new addition this year, the Chillax Zone. This new zone will be decorated like a bar and offer various specially crafted cocktails prepared on-site.
Each day, 30 free cocktails will be distributed at 3 p.m., and champion bartenders will share their skills and perform. This year, the festival also features a new game area with amusement rides and booth games to attract families to the event.
