John Lee: HK needs to be proactive in developing productivity

The Chief Executive, John Lee, said Hong Kong is making every effort to build an international innovation and technology center and to develop new quality productivity in accordance with local conditions. He added that Hong Kong is undergoing an economic restructuring and needs to be proactive and "aware of, responsive to, and knowledgeable about changes" in the face of challenges.

The Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry, Sun Dong, said that Hong Kong needs to work harder on the resources that match the development of new quality productivity, including land and industrial talents, as well as the suitability of many previous rules and practices for the development of the new era.
