In response to this year's Pop Culture Festival, the Museum presents its newest exhibition, Soundtrack of Our Lives: Joseph Koo x James Wong x the Rise of Cantopop, which is a must-see for those who love listening to Cantopop songs.
This exhibition is not only about listening but also about re-creating the atmosphere of people's lives in the past through a carefully designed space. Through a selection of eight songs, interspersed with carefully crafted scenes of people's lives in the 1970s to 1990s, such as old cafes, public housing corridors, electrical repair stores, etc., the exhibition takes people on a time-traveling journey to witness Hong Kong's social changes, economic boom, and vibrancy in the recent decades, until the days when Hong Kong became an international metropolis.
