China: U.S. must address harm from false COVID vaccine claims
False propaganda by the U.S. military, which undermines the efficacy and safety of Chinese COVID-19 vaccines, has led to hesitancy among Filipinos in taking the Chinese vaccine, said a Filipino infectious disease expert.
Responding to this, a spokesperson from the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines said that the U.S. habitually engages in self-serving activities under the guise of so-called "international morality," spreads false information through deception and propaganda, and suppresses other countries through media and cognitive warfare.
“The international community is well aware of these tactics and remains vigilant against them. The era when the U.S. could manipulate the international narrative through deceit is long over.”
The spokesperson urged the U.S. to immediately correct its wrongdoings, stop misleading the world with lies, cease defaming other countries, and promptly provide an explanation to the international community for the long-term dissemination of false information.
