Hong Kong Book Fair sees long queues for entry

The Hong Kong Book Fair is held from July 17 to July 23 at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre. Even before the opening time of 10 a.m., many citizens were already queuing to enter.

Some citizens, who have been first in line for several years, arrived as early as 5 a.m., hoping to purchase signed novels from their favorite authors and expecting to spend around HK$ 1,000 on books. Others near the front of the line aimed to buy weight-loss books and hoped to get limited-edition lucky bags.

This year's book fair has Film and Television Literature as its theme, allowing attendees to savor various film and television literary works through text and imagery.

The fair also features a world of art and culture gallery, which includes an interactive AI script transformation device. Visitors can input keywords to generate new scenes from classic film and television works.
