Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir to open for public without reservation starting August 1

The Water Supplies Department (WSD) has announced that starting August 1, the public will no longer need to make a reservation to visit the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir (Ex-SSPSR).

The site will be open for tours to view its internal structure from Monday to Sunday, between 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. The last admission times will be at 11:30 am and 4:30 pm daily. The reservoir will be closed on the first Tuesday of every month.

WSD will conduct one group tour session for guided tours from Monday to Friday afternoons and two individual tour sessions on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Each tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Reservations for these tours can be made through the WSD's dedicated webpage for the Ex-SSPSR tours.

The venue has a maximum capacity of 100 visitors at any given time, and entry will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis.
