Over the past 5 years, 16 Hong Kong bars have made it onto the "Asia's 50 Best Bars" list.
The 2024 "Asia's 50 Best Bars" awards ceremony will be held on July 16 (Tuesday). Supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the awards ceremony will be held in Hong Kong for the second consecutive year, attracting over 700 participants to the city and helping to promote the city's diverse bar culture, further solidifying Hong Kong's position as a global hub for the bar industry.
In the days before and after the ceremony (July 13-15, 18), the HKTB will, for the first time, collaborate with the organizer to invite top international bartenders to serve as guest bartenders at various top bars in Hong Kong. They will exchange ideas with local bartenders and co-create a variety of limited-time cocktails, allowing local and visiting consumers to experience a one-stop tasting of cocktails worldwide.

The event will gather over 24 top bartenders worldwide, inviting internationally renowned bars and local award-winning bars to collaborate on 5 unique cocktail experiences. Among them, the local award-winning bar COA, which has topped the "Asia's 50 Best Bars" list for three consecutive years, will team up with Sips, which was named one of the "World's 50 Best Bars" in 2023, and HandshakeSpeakeasy, which ranked first on the 2023 "North America's 50 Best Bars" list, to bring an international cocktail feast to local and visiting consumers. Earlier on July 9, the organizer announced the 51st to 100th places on the "Asia's 50 Best Bars" list, building the atmosphere for the upcoming "Asia's 50 Best Bars" awards ceremony in Hong Kong. The HKTB has also launched a new bar map on its official website (Click here to access the bar map), which includes the locations and introductions of local bars that have been named to the "Asia's 50 Best Bars" list over the past 5 years, as well as recommendations for signature cocktails, allowing local and visiting consumers to better understand the award-winning bars and plan a unique "bar tour" to experience Hong Kong's distinctive charm.
