The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will organize scheduled guided tours starting from 25 July for tourists visiting the campus. The initiative is part of the Tourist Flow Management Scheme that aims to preserve HKU campus as an environment conducive to teaching and learning for HKU members, while allowing visiting tourists to explore the campus and history of the University at the same time.

The tour, lasting about an hour per session, will cover various declared monuments in HKU Main Campus, as well as access to places that are usually not open to the public, such as the Loke Yew Hall. Accompanied by our student guides, participants will be briefed on the history and facts about each site and the history of HKU in general.

Interested individuals may learn more about the guided tour and reserve a spot in the guided tour by visiting the HKU website at https://tourist-registration-form.hku.hk/?lang=en.

In addition, special arrangements of tourists flow management will be implemented during August and September to accommodate the increasing number of activities in the campus. The quota and reservation system will be in place seven days a week, including Public Holidays. Tourists visiting the campus between 8 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Sunday and Public Holidays, will be required to make reservations through HKU's online registration platform prior to their visit, subject to availability for each session.

HKU will continue to closely monitor the effectiveness of the measures and make necessary adjustments, taking into consideration the feedback received from university members and the public.
