South Korean netizens recently expressed dissatisfaction with Netflix's translation of "La bai cai", and have launched a petition demanding Netflix to revise the translation version.
In the subtitles of the Netflix variety show "Super Rich in Korea", a kind of spicy vegetable pickle has been translated as Chinese-style "La bai cai" instead of Korean-style "Kimchi".
Korean netizens believe that Netflix has made a rookie mistake in translating the subtitles, and they are concerned that this could undermine the international status of "Kimchi".
