According to the latest district weather information, temperatures in many parts of Hong Kong exceed 30 degrees Celsius, with a maximum temperature of 32.9 degrees Celsius recorded.
At 6:45 a.m., HKO issued a special weather alert, noting the persistent high temperatures.
The public is advised to stay hydrated, rest, or seek help immediately if feeling unwell and seek medical attention as necessary.
More showers are expected early tomorrow (June 25), with several showers continuing over the next few days as the weather gets hotter.
