Hong Kong Airlines said today (June 21) that the number of flights it operates daily in the first half of this year has officially returned to the pre-epidemic level. It is expected that it will need to recruit more than 10% more pilots and 40% more cabin crew this year, and it has launched recruitment exercises in Hong Kong, mainland cities, and overseas cities.
The latest round of cabin crew recruitment fair was held in Bangkok on June 15, attracting more than 1,000 applicants. Chaturont CHAIYAKAM, Consul General of Thailand in Hong Kong, also attended the event and shared the development opportunities in the aviation industry between Hong Kong and Thailand. He also expressed his support for Hong Kong Airlines to step up its recruitment efforts in Thailand, saying that it is a good opportunity to enhance the exchange of talents between the two places.
Hong Kong Airlines' general manager of cabin experience said more than 20 Thailand staff recruited earlier this year are now in the final stage of training and are expected to commence service after graduation at the end of this month.
