One person injured in Tai Po Road's six-vehicle collision

A collision occurred on Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Heights) in the direction of Tai Wai at 7:54 a.m. this morning (June 20), involving six vehicles, all of which were private cars.

One of the drivers was reported injured and was taken to hospital by an ambulance for treatment, while the cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The Transport Department (TD) said that as a result of the accident, part of the traffic lane of the Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights in the direction of Tai Wai has been closed, and motorists can only use the remaining traffic lane.

Traffic is now congested at the above location.
