Eason Chan's Foshan concerts postponed to January 2025 due to fractured jaw
Eason Chan, the renowned Hong Kong singer, suffered a heatstroke and fainted while playing tennis on June 10, resulting in a fractured jaw after hitting the ground. This incident led to the postponement of his concert in Chongqing.
Today (June 17), the organizers announced that the six scheduled "Fear and Dreams" concerts in Foshan, initially set for July 12-14 and 19-21, 2024, will now be rescheduled to January 2025, allowing Eason more time for rest and recovery.
According to his management company, Eason is recovering well after a week of professional medical treatment and meticulous care. He is expected to be discharged and return home in two days for further rest.
The medical team has assessed that the fractured jaw needs six weeks to heal naturally. They recommended that Eason should have ample rest and undergo rehabilitation physiotherapy to ensure the quality of his future performances remains unaffected.
Consequently, the management company regretfully announced today the postponement of the Foshan concerts to January 2025.
The event organizer, Guangzhou Baohui Cultural Development Co., Ltd., will provide details regarding the rescheduled dates and compensation arrangements.
