Cathay Pacific Airways has announced that it will reduce its fuel surcharge from July 1st.

According to information published on Cathay Pacific's website, from July, the fuel surcharge for flights to and from Hong Kong and the Southwest Pacific, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be reduced from HK$923 to HK$719; for flights to and from HK and the South Asian subcontinent, the fuel surcharge will be reduced from HK$440 to HK$343; and for short-haul flights, the surcharge will be reduced from HK$207 to HK$161.

The fuel surcharge for flights to and from Mainland and HK will remain unchanged.

In addition, according to Cathay Pacific Airways, from June 25, the stopping time for check-in for Cathay Pacific flights in Hong Kong will be standardized to 60 minutes before flight departure, including airport check-in counters, self-service kiosks and online check-in services.
