
Following the Netherlands' loss in world ranking points yesterday (June 13), the China women's volleyball team has secured its spot in the Paris Olympics ahead of schedule, based on the ranking points system.
During the Volleyball Nations League 2024 in Fukuoka, the Netherlands lost 0-3 to the USA on Thursday, and Japan was defeated 2-3 by Canada.
As a result, China overtook Japan in the rankings, now leading by 6.61 points, rising to 6th place in the world, and reclaiming the top spot in Asia.
Currently, both the China and Japan women's volleyball teams have secured the Olympic qualification.
Tonight (June 14), the China women's volleyball team will continue their campaign in the Volleyball Nations League 2024 in Hong Kong. They will face off against Germany, aiming for their second consecutive win.
