According to the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda today (June 9), after more than two months of quarantine and transitional adaptation, the giant panda Fu Bao will officially meet the public at the Wolong China Panda Garden Shenshuping Base on June 12.
In order to ensure the safety and security of Fu Bao, the Base will be closed from 12:00 to 17:00 on June 11 and from 9:00 to 12:00 on June 12, after which people can enter the area to see the Panda. In addition, people can also watch the global live broadcast through the official Weibo account of the Panda Center, Hunan TV, and Mango TV.
On April 3 this year, Fu Bao returned to China and stayed at the Wolong China Panda Garden Shenshuping Base after his stay in Korea. The Base set up a professional technical team to develop a breeding management plan to help Fu Bao adapt to life in her home country.
After the quarantine period, Fu Bao moved into the breeding park of Wolong Shenshuping Base and gradually integrated into the life of the giant panda population. After the observation and evaluation by the breeding team, Fu Bao has recently moved into her new home, and will officially meet the public on June 12.
