World's first Doraemon drone show to be staged at Tsim Sha Tsui on May 25

The world's first Doraemon drone show will be held at 7:30 pm this Saturday (May 25) above the water area opposite the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The 20-minute show will feature about 1,000 drones showcasing different characters and props of Doraemon, as well as voice performances by local dubbing artists, according to the organizer.

The organizer also said that the event has obtained authorization from the Japanese side and it has competed with organizations in other places to successfully strive for its premiere in Hong Kong, which is believed to attract a large number of Doraemon fans.

Part of the road section from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre to the Hong Kong Museum of Art will be temporarily closed on May 25 and the police will implement crowd control at the scene.
