In cities with a large inventory of commercial housing, local governments can place orders and purchase some of the commercial housing at reasonable prices as appropriate to use as affordable housing, Vice Premier He Lifeng told a meeting in Beijing today (May 17).
He pointed out that local governments, real estate enterprises, financial institutions, etc. should enhance the coordination, and improve the handling of housing-related work.
