A collision of seven vehicles occurred along Island Eastern Corridor (IEC) at Quarry Bay today (May 16) at 8:51 am, including four cabs and three private cars. Five people had twisted necks or bruises and were sent to the hospital for treatment.
The accident caused traffic congestion along the IEC westbound, and part of the IEC near North Point Police Station was closed for a while. According to the latest information from the Transport Department (TD), some of the lanes which were closed earlier due to the traffic accident have been unlocked.
