A 37-year-old mainland man fell from a cliff today (May 12) at the Lion Rock and died after being hospitalized.
Police received a report at around noon today that the man, who was climbing with more than 10 other people on the mountain, fell off the cliff and was reported to be seriously injured and unconscious.
The Government Flying Service (GFS) was called to the scene and then lifted the injured man to the Eastern Hospital for treatment, but failed to save his life.
