Some MTR stations on the Kwun Tong Line need to be upgraded and services will be suspended for one day one after another, including Prince Edward, Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei Stations, so that the works can be carried out throughout the day, according to the corporation.
MTR will also arrange shuttle buses for affected passengers.
The MTR will also hold a press conference at 2:30 pm today at MTR Headquarters to explain the latest arrangements. The invitation to the press conference mentioned that an infrastructure asset renewal project will be carried out.
