Deliveroo Hong Kong on April 16 unveils the sales data of its corporate ordering service Deliveroo for Work (DfW) from the past quarter. DfW partners with clients across multiple professional service sectors, to enable their employees to enjoy the selection and service of Deliveroo within their working days. Amidst a thriving business landscape, the financial and consultancy sectors continue leading the way in placing orders across Deliveroo's restaurants and Deliveroo Hop, indicating a surge in nutritious food orders after the holiday season.

Healthy Choices Prove Popular in the Post-Holiday Season

As the festive season wound down at the beginning of the year, Deliveroo witnessed a remarkable surge in corporate orders for nutritious and health-focused meals. Compared to December 2023, orders for wholesome food options in January 2024 skyrocketed by nearly 100%. Corporate clients, particularly financial services and consultancy companies, demonstrated their commitment to employee wellbeing through ordering catering services for company events. Some employees use the corporate allowance to order meals for themselves and are choosing healthier options, emphasizing their own wellbeing and exercising their individual preferences, even beyond company-organized team events. From vibrant salads to protein-packed grain bowls and refreshing smoothies, Deliveroo for Work (DfW) users are prioritising health without compromising on taste.

Sales data from the first quarter of 2024 reveals how businesses and employees are seeking healthier dining options. Among consultancies and finance firms, restaurants offering nutritious food topped the chart as restaurant partners. It is not solely a post-holiday surge, but a sustained commitment to fostering a healthier diet throughout the quarter. Among the orders this quarter, Frutti, Pololi, Bite - SaladStop!, and Knead, Ralph's Coffee were favorites.

Order Growth in the Consultancy Industry

Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the consultancy industry demonstrated an 80% surge in orders, showcasing how Deliveroo for Work has effectively attracted professionals to engage with the platform. Meanwhile, orders from the finance industry continued to flourish and showed steady growth in Q1, with Deliveroo as a trusted partner in providing for the nutritional needs of their employees.

Deliveroo Hop Continues to be Go-To Destination to Boost Morale

Moving into 2024, businesses continued to leverage the grocery delivery service Deliveroo Hop. This growth highlights the commitments of firms to staff morale and employee engagement by ensuring an abundance of stock in the pantry, while taking advantage of the convenience and flexibility offered by Deliveroo Hop.

Nick Price, General Manager of Deliveroo Hong Kong, said, "Deliveroo is more than a platform. We are a strategic partner for our corporate clients, dedicated to supporting their employees' wellbeing.
