The Qingming Festival holiday in mainland China has just ended, and today (April 7) marks the final day of a series of holidays, including Easter and the Qingming Festival in Hong Kong. Shenzhen boundary checkpoints have previously stated that they expect a peak in the return of Hong Kong and Macau residents today. The mainland checkpoints, including Huanggang, Futian, Luohu, Shenzhen Bay, Liantang, and West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, will experience concentrated passenger flow during specific periods.
Specifically, the peak of inbound passenger flow at Huanggang checkpoint is expected from 11 pm to 1:30 am the next day, while the peak of outbound passenger flow will occur from 4 pm to 2 am the following day. At the Futian checkpoint, the peak of inbound passenger flow is expected from 9 am to 1 pm, and the peak of outbound passenger flow will occur from 4 pm to 10:30 pm.
