An argument between two men broke out due to a suspected physical collision when they were queuing up to get a drink in a restaurant selling liquor in Lan Kwai Fong at around 4:00 am today (April 1). A Nepali male friend of one of the men, who was defending his friend, grabbed a glass bottle and attacked the other man on the head.
The 23-year-old local man surnamed Tsui suffered head and hand injuries and had to be taken to Queen Mary Hospital by ambulance for treatment, while the Nepalese man, aged 21, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police are investigating the incident.
