On the first day of the Easter holiday (March 29), a large number of passengers were at the West Kowloon Station preparing to travel to the Mainland.
The MTR also announced earlier that starting from the middle of this month, the Express Rail Link will increase the train frequency between West Kowloon Station and Futian Station on Fridays, weekends and public holidays for three consecutive weeks, and that the daily train frequency between West Kowloon Station and Futian Station will be further increased from March 28 to April 6.
Moreover, as of 10 am today, the Immigration Department announced that the number of arrivals and departures at various control points had reached 280,000; among them, nearly 240,000 were departures and over 42,000 were arrivals.
