The year 2024 will mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary.
Hong Kong and Hungary have always maintained close bilateral trade relations, and HK is an ideal gateway for Hungarian enterprises to enter the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area market and participate in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Ernő Pető, President of Hungarian-Chinese Chamber of Economy, said that over the past decade, the Chamber and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) have cooperated pleasantly, and in turn, they have established contacts with enterprises in the Chinese mainland.
He said the Chamber's role is to enhance the long-term stable development of China and Hungary in the economic and trade field, not only to attract Chinese large-scale enterprises to invest in Hungary, but also to provide opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.
