The 14th National People's Congress (NPC) currently has 2,956 deputies, according to a statement issued by the NPC Standing Committee on Tuesday.
11 deputies' qualifications to the 14th NPC have been terminated. They are Wang Yixin, Sun Biao, Hu Jianwen, Lei Dongzhu, Zhu Hong, An Jiuxiong, Li Zhizhong, Huang Jiawu, Qin Gang, Feng Jiehong and Lu Weiwei.
This year's National People's Congress (NPC) meeting will open in Beijing on March 5, while the annual meeting of the top advisory body, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, will open on March 4.
